Job summary

Evara Health is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our clinics and spaces safe and functional across multiple sites in Florida. You’ll perform carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general repairs while upholding our mission-driven culture.

You'll conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, cleaning, and supply management, with on-call support for after-hours emergencies and contractor oversight.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of intermediate building maintenance methods and equipment.
• Knowledge of intermediate preventive maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs to keep facilities safe.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance using checklists to identify and address issues.
• Handle minor repairs such as replacing electrical fixtures, unclogging drains, patching walls and painting.
• Clean interiors and exteriors, move furniture, receive packages, and maintain supplies.
• Monitor vaccine storage units, assist with contractor oversight, and stay on-call for after-hours maintenance emergencies.

About This Role:

• Perform a wide range of building maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs to ensure a safe and functional environment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance using checklists to identify and address facility issues proactively.
• Handle minor repairs such as replacing electrical fixtures, unclogging drains, patching walls, painting, and fixing doors and locks.
• Support facilities upkeep by cleaning interior/exterior areas, moving furniture, receiving packages, and maintaining supply inventory.
• Monitor vaccine storage units, assist with contractor oversight, and remain on-call for after-hours maintenance emergencies.

Education and Experience

• Knowledge of Intermediate methods, practices and equipment used in building maintenance services
• Knowledge of Intermediate preventive maintenance activities

LICENSES, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION:

• Must have valid drivers license
• Must hold and maintain a clean driving record
