We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform regular mechanical and electrical maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including machinery, robotics, and PLC systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing your extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to equipment and processes.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of machinery and systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within the engineering industry.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with robotics and automated systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
