Job summary

The Chattanoogan Hotel (Curio Collection by Hilton) in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering Team. This role reports to the Chief Engineer and helps maintain a safe, efficient operations and an exceptional guest environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building systems, plus strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance, engineering, facilities, or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall background).

This position reports directly to the Chief Engineer and plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Engineering Department while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and exceptional guest environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in maintenance, hotel engineering, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
