Job summary

gpac is seeking a hands-on, multi-craft maintenance technician for a highly automated dairy facility. The role focuses on safe, compliant, and reliable operation of production, packaging, and utility systems across a 24/7 operation.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of industrial maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment. This position offers night/weekend shift premiums and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with reading schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems a plus.

Job description

This is a **hands-on, multi-craft maintenance position** supporting a highly automated dairy facility. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation of production, packaging, and utility systems across a 24/7 operation.

The Ideal Candidate Brings:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment
• Experience maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers
• Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems a plus
• Commitment to food safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement
• Safety-conscious mindset with ability to work independently on 6pm–6am shift
