Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Chanhassen, MN to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment ensuring safe, efficient operations. The role focuses on complex machinery maintenance, with responsibilities spanning electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The successful candidate will read drawings and specifications, fabricate parts as needed, and participate in a safety‑focused, quality‑driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Repair and maintain machinery including die cutters, web and sheet‑fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment.
  • Fabricate, modify, or repair machine components using welding equipment, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other machine shop tools.

Responsibilities

  • Proven experience installing, repairing, maintaining, and overhauling complex industrial machinery.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical controls, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
  • Ability to perform precision alignments, measurements, and equipment calibrations.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors, drive systems, positioning systems, and automated equipment.
  • Strong understanding of geometry, shop mathematics, clearances, pressure, flow rates, and equipment tolerances.
  • Ability to fabricate replacement parts and assemble specialized mechanical components.

Maintenance Technician – Chanhassen, MN

Pay Rate: $28.75 - $42.11 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday + Every other Thursday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
