Job description

Job Description:

• Capable of troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling equipment within close tolerances.

• Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.

• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PMs) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) on Process & Packaging Equipment with minimal guidance.

• Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover, and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.

• Document Work Orders (WOs) using Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance).

• Effectively communicate with Operators, Peers, Supervisors, and all levels of management daily.

• Provide enthusiastic support where needed and complete other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

• Demonstrate Engagement in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Theory and Concepts through participation in Pillar Teams, training fellow Technicians/Operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM), including conducting Breakdown Analysis (BDA).

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling equipment within close tolerances.
  • Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
  • Perform PMs and PdM on Process & Packaging Equipment with minimal guidance.
  • Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover, and training in Autonomous Maintenance activities.
  • Document WOs using SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff daily.
  • Support and complete other duties as assigned.
  • Engage in TPM activities, including training and Breakdown Analysis.
  • Understand and adhere to safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, Confined Space, and GMP requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance/Technology or related field.
  • Completion of Mars Apprenticeship Program or Co-op.
  • Advanced understanding of AC/DC Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics, and Mechanical Drawings.
  • Technical/Trade Certification in Welding, Machining, Fabrication, or Blueprint Interpretation.
  • PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
  • Standing on concrete floors, wearing PPE, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Work extended hours, including standing or working on feed for at least eight hours per shift.
