Job summary

Haverkamp Properties in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a hands-on property operations professional to maintain and improve our communities. You will manage resident work orders, enhance curb appeal and common areas, and ensure a positive move-in experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident requested work orders in a timely manner
• Work as a member of a team that takes pride it is property’s curb appeal and common area conditions
• Efficiently prepare or make ready vacant units so that the new resident has a positive experience
• Provide 5-star customer service
• Effectively communicate
• Lead Generation
• Lead Conversion
• Customer Fulfillment (The part where our maintenance teams excel!)
• Help the team to achieve and maintain an occupancy of greater than 95%
• Complete greater than 75% of all work orders within 48 hours
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy in 7 days or less
• Gives clear directions
• Makes sure you have the necessary tools
• Acts with the greater good in mind
• Delegates appropriately
• Takes time to truly understand your role and how you can help the company
• Makes their expectations clear
• Communicates well
• Has effective meetings
• Meets one‑on‑one with you quarterly or more, if needed
• Rewards and recognizes your performance
