Job summary

Continental Realty is seeking a Service Technician for Mount Ridge apartments in Catonsville, MD. You will help maintain the physical integrity of this community with 266 apartment-homes and collaborate with team members to complete service requests and make-readies in a timely, high-quality manner.

We offer a competitive hourly rate plus bonus, plus a $750/month rent discount for live-on (if needed), on-call appreciation incentive, health/dental/vision/401K, and paid training.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, appliance repairs, carpentry and electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to complete service requests and make-readies in a timely fashion with high-quality workmanship.
• Share knowledge with coworkers and assist each other when challenges arise.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents beyond standard expectations.
• Manage time effectively and communicate updates throughout the day.
• Anticipate problems residents might have before they occur.

• Go above and beyond the call of duty for residents to provide excellent customer service.
• Manage your time wisely and communicate throughout the day.
• Anticipate problems that residents might have before they even occur.
• 2-4 years of recent hands-on experience in building apartment maintenance
• EPA certification is strongly preferred
• HVAC skills, plumbing, appliance repairs, carpentry and electrical
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in the emergency on-call rotation
• Vehicle, driver’s license, basic tools.
