A-1 Industries is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of routine and semi-skilled tasks involving general maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds.
• Provide constant oversight and manage the upkeep of various electrical systems, mechanical systems, production machinery, office equipment, and plumbing.
• Ensures all building systems are running at optimal efficiency.
• Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
• Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
• Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems with the facility.
• Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
• Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.
• Maintains inventory of supplies.
• Assist higher-level technicians.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing environment where you must adhere to all safety requirements.

Physical Demands

This role will be required to talk, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment and utilizes chemicals necessary for janitorial disinfecting.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
