Job summary

IES is seeking a Maintenance professional to evaluate and maintain industrial equipment and building systems. You will schedule preventative work, coordinate with vendors, and assist with maintenance budgets while ensuring safety and a clean, compliant work environment.

Responsibilities include on-site coordination, safety compliance, and participation in meetings to align maintenance timelines with production goals.

Qualifications

• Schedule maintenance for building systems and machinery.
• Proven safe work performance in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out and machine guarding.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate machines and building systems to determine required maintenance
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Correspond with vendors to schedule maintenance needs
• Assist with departmental maintenance needs to coordinate schedules and budget
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Attend production meetings to coordinate scheduling and notify other departments of maintenance issues/timelines
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
• Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Oversee disposal of chemical waste; choose supplier, schedule, maintain safety standards
• Maintain building security
• On site First Responder - Assist in emergency and clean up

Education & Experience

• Five years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• Proven record of working safely with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
