Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in California, United States, responsible for maintaining and supporting facility operations and production equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, conducting preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, and diagnosing and repairing equipment issues to minimize downtime. The role also involves collaborating with production and cultivation teams to prioritize maintenance needs, maintaining accurate maintenance logs, and ensuring all work adheres to safety, regulatory, and cleanliness standards. The Maintenance Technician may assist with facility improvements, support equipment installations, and respond to urgent maintenance requests to keep the facility running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills for production and facility systems.
• Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting abilities to quickly diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Candidates should possess solid Preventive Maintenance experience to plan and perform scheduled service on equipment.
• Candidates should possess Industrial Maintenance capabilities for working in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is beneficial.
• Experience in cannabis, food production, or similar regulated industries is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, read technical manuals, and use tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
• Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds on occasion and 20 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to work seated or standing for at least 8 hours.
• Must be able to reach items at varying height levels (on shelves, on ground, etc.).
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
• Kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
• Work in high areas including the roof and operate equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

• Pay: Hourly $20-$35/hr Depending on Experience
