Join True Harmony Company as a Maintenance Technician at our Ely, Nevada campus.

About the Role

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for keeping systems running smoothly? True Harmony Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the performance and upkeep of our equipment and systems in our cannabis facilities and large-scale, state-of-the-art greenhouse.

In this role, you’ll work under limited supervision to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical components. From performing installations and test runs to supporting operations during peak seasons, you'll play a vital role in performing maintenance tasks to support facility operations at our 250,000 sq. ft. cannabis greenhouse facilities and onsite housing.

Location: This is an onsite position at our Ely, Nevada location at 30955 N. Alt, US-93, Ely, NV 89301 (Near intersection of US Rt 93 & US Alt Route 93).

Schedule: The schedule is Monday-Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm. There may be times you are called in on weekends, holidays, and after hours for maintenance needs.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Survey and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with safety standards.
• Run diagnostics, adjust, repair, and maintain various systems and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections of facility systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Assist with repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other systems as directed.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
• Support landscaping and irrigation system maintenance.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Record maintenance activities and report issues promptly.
• Respond to emergency repair needs as assigned.
• Attend training sessions as needed.
• May occasionally be required to be on call due to special circumstances or departmental needs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supportive Functions

• May be required to help with general field operations at peak season or slow mechanical periods throughout the year
• Meets with management regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as necessary
• Communicates with the management team to order replacement parts for machines

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary licenses to work in the cannabis industry
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Experience as a facilities maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Experience with welding and fabrication
• Knowledge of computers, email and mobile apps
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Nice to Haves

• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field
• Welding experience
• Harvest machinery experience

• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
• Commercial Driver's License

Physical Requirements/Environmental Factors: Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Standing/Walking: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, often in a greenhouse environment. Repetitive Motion: Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to handle plants and equipment. Manual Dexterity: Proficient hand-eye coordination for tasks such as cloning, trellising, and transplanting. Work Environment: Ability to work in varying temperatures and humidity levels typical of greenhouse environments. Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
