Job summary

Regent at Burnsville, a Cassia community, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair a vibrant senior living campus in Burnsville, MN. You will handle routine repairs, respond to resident requests, and help keep the campus safe and welcoming for residents and staff.

We value hands-on mechanics, reliability, and a customer-first mindset. The role offers dayshift hours (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), Tuesday through Saturday, with on-call duties every third week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required for the role.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred; training provided on-site.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical work, HVAC or floor care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
• Follow scheduled preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Complete projects with minimal supervision and keep detailed reports.
• Perform lawn care, snow removal, and related duties as assigned.

As aMaintenance Technicianat Regent at Burnsville, you’ll stay active and engaged as you identify maintenance needs, complete hands-on repairs, and help keep our campus running smoothly for residents and staff. Position Type:This is aFull-Time,benefit eligible position working Tuesday - Saturdayand on call every3rd week Monday-Monday
Shift Available:
Days8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Wage Range:$22 - $26.27 / hour depending on experience

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
• Follow scheduledpreventative maintenance program.
• Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
• Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
• Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
• Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
• Perform lawn care and landscaping duties; remove snow and ice from walkways.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and/or floor care preferred.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
• Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.
• Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
