Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Brick, NJ. This role is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on facility equipment, systems, and building infrastructure to ensure a safe and functional environment. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and carrying out preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and structural components. The Maintenance Technician assists with work orders, responds to maintenance requests from staff, and coordinates with outside vendors when needed., following safety and regulatory guidelines, and supporting overall facility operations.

Qualifications

• Strong equipment maintenance skills, including Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, to support daily facility operations.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues using Troubleshooting skills in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment and building systems.
• Background in Industrial Maintenance or similar settings, with familiarity in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements applicable to healthcare facilities.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, read technical manuals, and interpret work orders and basic schematics.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, and vendor teams.
