Primary Purpose:

The Maintenance Technician provides general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, grounds, and public spaces.

Work Performed:

The duties include:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (e.g., "room care").
• Complete work orders from guests and staff, recording in logs.
• Assist with electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, TVs, lighting, making minor repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine repairs on hotel equipment including appliances, laundry, boilers, pool, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems.
• Service the hotel's pool—adjust chemicals and clean filters.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures, including painting and finishing as needed.
• Operate power equipment, hand tools, and vehicles for grounds maintenance and landscaping.
• Maintain grounds equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Remove trash from sidewalks, grounds, and parking areas daily.
• Provide friendly, prompt service to guests and staff following Atrium's Core Values.
• Follow safety and security policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as required to fulfill the primary purpose.

Qualifications:

• Minimum six (6) months maintenance experience.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing Certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly.
• Ability to bend, squat repeatedly, and stand/walk for entire shift.
• Flexible to work days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
