Job summary

The Waffle House is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multiple restaurants in the Brandon, MS area. You will install and repair restaurant equipment, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and associated building components.

Responsibilities include ensuring equipment reliability, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting on-call rotations on weekends, nights, and holidays. A strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have basic plumbing and electrical wiring knowledge.
• Experience with tools (hand/power) for general maintenance tasks.
• HVAC repair experience up to 5 ton capacity is required.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair restaurant equipment including refrigeration components.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs.
• Repair and replace doors, blinds, tiles, and roof as needed.

JOB DETAILS

The Waffle House Maintenance Technician will be responsible for multiple restaurants in and around the geographical area. Job responsibilities will include installation and repair of restaurant and refrigeration equipment, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, roof repair and replacement of doors, blinds, tiles, etc.

Required Experience

• Basic Plumbing


• Basic building electrical wiring (low voltage and 120/208 volt, single and 3 phase service)


• Use of small power/hand tools


• HVAC repair for units up to 5 ton


• EPA Universal Certification
