Job summary

Unicast Company in Boyertown, PA is seeking a qualified manufacturing maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs on production and facility equipment, troubleshoot, weld, and fabricate as needed.

This full-time role offers a signing bonus of $500, 401(k) and health/vision insurance, and an employee-owned structure. Work schedule is 40 hours with overtime when available; a high school diploma and flexible availability are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good general skills including: lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, piping, sheet metal, electrical, etc.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays, as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs on production and facility equipment to return it to peak operational efficiency.
• Must be able to troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant production equipment.
• Welding and basic fabrication skills.
• Use of hand tools, portable electric tools & typical shop stationary equipment.
• Skills such as welding, hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting & repair, basic electrical (fuse replacement, small motor replacement, etc.).
• Comply with facility safety rules.
• Participate in safety initiatives.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Unicast Company is a Gray Iron Foundry that is located in Boyertown, PA, that is searching for a qualified experienced manufacturing maintenance technician.

Maintenance Technician Position Summary:

• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs on various production and facility equipment to return it to peak operational efficiency.
• Must be able to troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant production equipment.
• Welding and basic fabrication skills.
• Use of hand tools, portable electric tools & typical shop stationary equipment.
• Skills such as welding, hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting & repair, basic electrical (fuse replacement, small motor replacement, etc.)
• Comply with facility safety rules.

Experience/Knowledge:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Pay Rate:

• $25 - $30 per hour.
• Pay rate will depend on skill level.
