Related Management Company in Boston, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties in great shape, respond to service requests from residents, and coordinate routine preventative maintenance. The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work an on-call emergency rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential work to keep properties in great shape.
• Complete service requests promptly, interact with residents, maintain systems.
• Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests in a timely manner.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
• Inspect mechanical systems and grounds; address safety issues with management.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance in partnership with supervisor.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in site preparation for inspections.
• Maintain workplace safety policies, including current COVID-19 standards.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs.

• Sunday - Thursday: 9am - 5:30pm
• Off days : Friday and Saturday

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

• Perform essential work to keep our properties in great shape
• Complete service requests in a timely manner, interact with residents, and keep your property’s systems in good working order
• Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests in a timely manner.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standard within established time frame.
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds; immediately address safety issues with management.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with supervisor.
• Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to prepare site for inspections.
• Maintain workplace safety policies and standards, including current COVID-19 standards.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs.

COMPENSATION

• $25.00 - $26.00 / hour
