Job summary

Related Management Company (RMC) is seeking a Janitor/Porter to maintain cleanliness across lobby, hallways, elevators, and restrooms, with light maintenance tasks as needed. This is a full-time role based in Boston, offering $21.00 per hour and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years prior janitor, cleaner, or porter experience.
• Must be reliable and able to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Team player able to work with little supervision.
• Excellent time management and work ethic.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for an 8 hour shift.
• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and common areas.
• Mop, sweep, strip/wax/buff floors, dust, vacuum and remove trash.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• General upkeep of buildings and grounds.
• Snow removal and landscaping.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Job description

Janitor/Porter responsibilities include

SCHEDULE: Full Time / 40 hours per week

• Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, hallways, elevators, common areas, and restrooms (mop, sweep, strip/wax/buff floors, dust, vacuum and garbage removal)


• Light maintenance may be assigned


• Provide excellent customer service to residents


• General upkeep of the buildings and grounds


• Snow removal and landscaping


• Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition


• Special projects as assigned
