Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Boone (also Banner Elk) to join the Property Management team. The role focuses on reliability, problem-solving, and hands-on maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and guest-facing service.

Typical schedule is Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, with weekly pay and a temp-to-perm path. Candidates should have 3–5 years’ related experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to multitask across locations and tasks, including hot

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and basic systems troubleshooting.
• Proficient with plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Able to service hot tubs.
• Strong communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems.
• Perform plumbing, electrical tasks and install technology setups.
• Use of power tools during maintenance.
• Respond to virtual guest maintenance requests and greet guests.
• Service hot tubs and ensure guest satisfaction.

Our client in Boone is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Property Management Team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated and able to solve problems which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: We have positions in Boone and Banner Elk

Pay Range: $17/hour + with experience

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

What’s the Job?

• Working knowledge of HVAC
• Knowledge of Plumbing, electrical, technology set up
• Use of Power Tools
• Conduct virtual guest maintenance requests, and meet and greet
• Be able to service Hot Tubs

What’s Needed?

• Must be able to multitask
• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Must be a steady, reliable worker and self-motivated
• Must be able to communicate both verbally and written with all levels of employees and guests.
