Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or similar
• EPA and CPO certifications preferred
• Plumbing, drywall, carpentry, appliance repair, HVAC and electrical skills are valued

• Assist neighbors and coworkers and share knowledge when needed.

Position: Service Technician for The Bluestone Apartments - Bluffton, SC

Role Overview

As a Service Technician, you will help maintain the physical integrity of this beautiful community with 360 apartment-homes.

Hourly rate + $750.00 per month rent discount for live-on + medical/dental/vision/401k with company match + quarterly bonus + on-call appreciation bonus + paid training + fun events

• Work closely with your team members to complete service requests and make-readies in a timely fashion with high quality craftsmanship.
• Share your knowledge with coworkers and assist each other when challenges arise.
• Go above and beyond the call of duty for residents to provide excellent customer service.
• Manage your time wisely and communicate throughout the day.
• Anticipate problems that residents might have before they even occur.
• MUST BE A GO-GETTER with a proven track record of stepping up to the plate and taking initiative.
• 1+ years of recent hands-on experience in apartment maintenance, preferably on a garden-style community with high standard for customer service.
• EPA and CPO certifications preferred, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, appliance repair, basic HVAC and electrical.
• Must be willing to pull call in the emergency rotation.
• Vehicle, license, basic tools
• Ability to assess and address problems quickly, good organization skills and strong follow up.
