Continental Realty is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Elevate at Brighton Park in Summerville, SC. You will help maintain a 329-unit community, with a compensation package that includes a $750 monthly live-on rent discount (if desired), quarterly team bonus, and comprehensive health/dental/vision benefits.

Join a hands-on team where you will address service requests, perform repairs, and ensure high resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MUST BE A GO-GETTER with a proven track record of stepping up to the plate and taking initiative.
• 2+ years of hands-on apartment maintenance experience, preferably on a demanding garden-style community.
• HVAC skills with EPA certification preferred, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, appliance repair and electrical experience.

Position: Maintenance Technician for Elevate at Brighton Park - Summerville, SC

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain the physical integrity of this fast-paced community with 329 apartment-homes. We own and operate the property and invest in the long-term, so you will have the resources to do your job.

Most Important Responsibilities

• Work closely with your team members to complete service requests and make-readies in a timely fashion with high-quality craftsmanship.
• Share your knowledge with coworkers and assist each other when challenges arise.
• Go above and beyond the call of duty for residents to provide excellent customer service.
• Manage your time wisely and communicate throughout the day.
• Anticipate problems that residents might have before they even occur.

Most Important Qualifications

• MUST BE A GO-GETTER with a proven track record of stepping up to the plate and taking initiative.
• 2+ years of recent hands-on experience in apartment maintenance, preferably on a demanding garden-style community with high standard for customer service.
• Solid track record of HVAC skills, EPA certification preferred, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, appliance repair and electrical.
• Vehicle, valid driver's license, tools, must be willing to participate in the on-call rotation.
• Ability to assess and address problems quickly, good organization skills and strong follow up.
