This role is hands-on and service-oriented, supporting daily work orders, property upkeep, and resident needs while helping prevent minor issues from becoming major repairs. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams and serves as a key contributor to resident satisfaction and community safety.Work ArrangementLocation: Onsite | 150 Summit | Birmingham, ALSchedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMOn-Call: Required on a scheduled basis, including occasional weekends or holidaysKey ResponsibilitiesPerform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs, including light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC-related workRespond to work orders promptly and proactively identify maintenance issues to prevent escalationMaintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and resident amenities such as pools and clubhousesInteract professionally and courteously with residents in their homes and throughout the communityFollow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working and living environmentAssist with general property upkeep and support team members as neededCareer Path & Next Role ReadinessThe Maintenance Technician role is intentionally designed as a pathway to the Lead Maintenance Technician role.
