Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5yrs of maintenance experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification.
• General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building systems.
• HVAC experience.
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment work orders and general repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections.
• Maintain buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Keep maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment organized.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing requirements.
• Provide professional, courteous service to residents and team members.
