Job summary

ITW Electronic Component Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems, minimizing downtime. The role includes diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on extrusion molding machinery and supporting installation of new equipment.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, adhere to safety protocols, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues with extrusion molding machinery
• Perform repairs and replacement of faulty components to keep machines operating efficiently

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge and understanding of process controls, industrial electrical wiring and 3 phase systems up to 480 Volts
• Knowledge of A/C and D/C motors and controls
• Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Basic computer skills for documentation and CMMS systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• The ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English
• The ability to work when needed, including occasional weekends or overtime to support production

Compensation Information:

$34-$36 per hour
