Job summary

SKYLAKE Adventures maintenance team is seeking a hands-on technician to uphold park facilities and guest safety. You’ll perform routine upkeep across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs, ensuring reliable operations.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inspections, and timely responses to requests, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. Collaboration with Facilities leadership on projects and seasonal transitions is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or a similar hands-on role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair practices.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot problems and complete routine repairs safely and effectively.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to recognize maintenance needs and take appropriate action.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Physical ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical requirements of the position.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the park, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and park infrastructure to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues, complete repairs within the scope of the role, and communicate specialized or complex needs to Facilities leadership as appropriate.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and operational needs in a timely manner, helping keep park areas safe, functional, and guest-ready.
  • Support seasonal setup, transitions, and winter operations, including installation, removal, and maintenance of seasonal equipment and park features.
  • Support the Facilities team with special projects, park-wide initiatives, and other operational needs as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned
