Job summary

Amcor in Asheville is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and optimizing manufacturing equipment across electrical and control systems. The role requires a 12-hour night shift (Monday–Thursday, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) and offers a comprehensive benefits package along with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical/electronics preferred.
  • 3+ years in electrical technician role in manufacturing/industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work safely with high-voltage systems and equipment.

Shift: NIGHTS Monday – Thursday, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on electrical and control systems
