Job summary

Amcor in Asheville, NC is hiring a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and optimize electrical and control systems across our facilities and equipment.

You'll install and service motors, drives, PLCs, read schematics, support preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical/electronicspreferred
  • 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Computerproficiency, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work safely with high-voltage systems and equipment
  • Capableoflifting upto 50 lbs. and working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment

Shift:NIGHTS Monday - Thursday, 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
