Job summary

GPAC (Growing People and Companies) is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our growing operation on-site in Arlington, TX. This hands-on role focuses on keeping industrial equipment, fleet vehicles, and facility machinery running safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, work with hydraulics and electrical systems, and perform routine inspections to prevent failures.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, diesel mechanics, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, fleet vehicles, and facility machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair and maintain a variety of industrial processing equipment and mobile equipment.
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before equipment failures occur.
• Replace bearings, belts, chains, hoses, cylinders, motors, and other mechanical components.
• Complete minor welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
• Assist with hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed repairs.
• Keep shop tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Preferred Experience: Industrial balers, shredders, forklifts, skid steers, trailers, industrial processing equipment.
