Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests and support the upkeep of our community. You will perform preventative maintenance, unit turns, and emergency repairs while ensuring safety and quality.

This role interacts with residents and vendors to maintain a positive living environment. Ideal candidates bring strong troubleshooting skills, basic HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and general maintenance systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and complete repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance.
  • Schedule, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance activities.
  • Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating vendors and contractors.

This role ensures that the physical aspects of the property meet company standards while delivering timely, high-quality service to residents.
