Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose/repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues in a 55+ multifamily community. The role includes completing resident work orders, turnover tasks, and assisting with grounds care.

The ideal candidate has HVAC, electrical, and plumbing experience in multifamily settings, with EPA or CPO certifications preferred. Proficiency in English and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC experience in a multifamily setting.
• EPA and CPO certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance as directed by the supervisor.
• Complete resident work orders promptly including diagnosing and repairing minor HVAC and appliance issues.
• Complete punch items for apartment turnover such as filter changes, lightbulb changes, minor cleaning and vendor followup for missed items.
• Assist with grounds care as necessary (emptying pet stations, trash cans, power washing pool deck and furniture, painting doors, shampooing furniture).
• Be available for emergencies and on-call duties.
