Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a food manufacturing facility in Northeast Pennsylvania. This role offers three shift options and calls for hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair electrical controls, motors, sensors, switches, PLCs, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other equipment.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and work as part of a team.
• Strong safety awareness and dependable work habits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
• Diagnose electrical controls, motors, sensors, switches, and related components
• Troubleshoot PLCs and automated production equipment
• Repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and production machinery
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and make effective repairs
• Assist with equipment installations and improvements
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
• Follow all plant safety, food safety, and sanitation requirements
• Work closely with Production and other Maintenance team members to minimize downtime

One of our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for their faciltiy located in Northeast Pennsylvania. They have openings on all three shifts. They'relooking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our food manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on troubleshooter with strong electrical and mechanical skills who can diagnose equipment problems, make repairs, and help keep our production lines running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment

• Troubleshoot PLCs and automated production equipment
• Repair and maintain pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and production machinery
