Job summary

Woodbine Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time shift from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, in Alexandria, VA. The role offers an hourly range of $20.00–$27.00/hr with all-inclusive incentives and daily pay options.

You will maintain building systems, perform repairs, and support safety and comfort for residents, staff, and visitors, using standard software to document work orders and updates. Join a values-driven team focused on excellence.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.
• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.
• Utilize basic computer systems to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
