Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician | Direct Hire
Location: Alabaster, AL
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour
Shift: 7 AM – 3 PM, Monday‑Friday

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 2‑5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, wiring and controls.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC‑controlled equipment (Allen‑Bradley and Siemens preferred).
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and repair automated production equipment and PLC‑controlled systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment issues before failures occur.
- Assist with the installation, setup and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs and repair documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and overall plant performance.
