• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Degree or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of complex machinery including FANUC robotics, hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, and electrical systems.
• Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Implementing mechanical maintenance best practices to ensure the optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
• Working with a variety of plastics processing machinery including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming.
• Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance the efficiency and functionality of machinery and equipment.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and implement new processes.
• Ensuring all maintenance work and repairs comply with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the engineering industry.
• Proven experience with FANUC robotics, hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, and electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical maintenance and experience with plastics processing machinery including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming.
• A strong understanding of safety regulations and maintenance protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field would be an advantage.
