Job summary

Vitality Living of Aitkin is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to care for the building and grounds. The role covers minor repairs, preventative maintenance, safety alarms, and coordination with contractors to keep resident environments safe and comfortable.

The technician may transport residents to appointments and communicate via walkie talkies. Flags include opportunity to obtain boiler licenses and other certifications, with perks like uniform allowance and free lunch.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repair of all building, plant operations systems and equipment.
• Repairs and maintains resident furniture or equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on building mechanical equipment, nursing lift equipment, alarms, etc.
• Maintains safety alarm systems throughout the community.
• Coordinates major maintenance and repair with licensed contractors.
• Transports residents to local appointments when needed.
• Communicates on walkie talkies.
• May obtain estimates for supplies and order parts.

Vitality Living of Aitkin is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of job tasks in the physical building and on the facility grounds.

Typical job duties may involve but are not limited to:

• Performsminor repair of all building, plant operations systems and equipment.
• Repair and maintenance to resident furniture or equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis, nursing lift equipment, alarms, etc.
  
• Participates in the maintenance of safety alarm systems throughout the community.
• Coordinate major maintenance and repair with licensed contractors.
• Transport residents to & from local appointment when needed.
• Communication on walkie talkies.
• May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
