Job summary

Alliant Energy in Kentucky is seeking a journey-level mechanical technician to maintain generation facilities. You will perform mechanical, basic electrical, and control maintenance, operate tools, and support safety and efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, data logging, welding, machining, and collaborating with teams to keep plant reliability high. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and journey-level experience in mechanical trades; background checks
