Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Wichita, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment and assist in new equipment installations.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems across production and supporting departments, adhering to safety rules. Shift is Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, with 36 hours paid for 40.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years maintenance experience, aerospace preferred.
• Consistent job history with minimal gaps.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment
• Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools
• Must comply with all company safety rules and policies
• Other duties as assigned

Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.

Shift schedule Friday - Sunday, 6:00AM - 6:30PM, 36 hours paid for 40 hours.
