Job summary

Cencora's American Health Packaging in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support quality manufacturing operations. The role involves implementing minor process adjustments, monitoring equipment, and maintaining detailed records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You'll work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with four mandatory weekend shifts each quarter, and be paid $24.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, or a related field.
• Certification in maintenance, technical operations, or equipment handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements minor process adjustments that improve accuracy, efficiency, and reduce rework.
• Communicates status updates and risk information to support timely resolution and alignment.
• Validates records, reports, and outputs to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with standards.
• Escalates complex or atypical issues with clear context, actions taken, and recommended next steps.
• Organizes personal work queue to maintain service levels and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Assists with follow-up activity needed to close routine maintenance and documentation items.
