Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Ware, MA to perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems, and support continuous improvement efforts. You will work with PLCs, automation, robotics, conveyors, and safety-critical systems to maximize uptime.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, robotics, conveyor systems, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical skills, with a strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum uptime and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in production machinery and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and automation systems to ensure optimum performance and safety.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of conveyor systems, ensuring smooth and efficient product movement.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify potential improvements and implement solutions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
