Job summary

Hutchinson in the United States is seeking a self-motivated maintenance technician who will perform preventative and responsive maintenance on production equipment. Ideal candidates are graduates from industrial maintenance programs, able to lift heavy loads, train others, and work without direct supervision while contributing to a culture of reliability

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and manage the PM system.
• Perform inventory control duties with maintenance material parts.
• Lift 35 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs on occasion.
• Maintain good attendance and achieve qualitative and quantitative performance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow safety policies.

Support the manufacturing operations department by performing preventative and responsive maintenance of equipment in a safe manner in conformance to customer quality and on-time delivery requirements, utilizing the work orders and standardized work.

• Able to work at height from a ladder or lift, have own tools,
• Train Other Employees (new hires or transfers)

• Practice safety and environmental awareness at all times on the job and on company property, including parking lot
• Other duties as needed.
• Must actively support our Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, immediately report all dangerous situations and correct them when able to do so safely, participate in all required Safety Training, meetings, inspections and use all required PPE.
