Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to deliver exceptional on-site service to residents. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to perform skilled repairs and preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include turnover maintenance, common area upkeep, and timely completion of tasks within a three to five business day turnover window. On-call hours are required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
  • EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.

Responsibilities

  • Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
  • Perform apartment turnover maintenance within three to five business days and complete turnover checklist.
  • Common area maintenance: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, pressure washing, windows cleaning.
  • Monitor building exterior for roof, siding, shutters issues.
  • Assist preventive maintenance program for area of responsibility.
  • Ensure safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise.
  • Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Observe all safety rules.
