MI Windows and Doors LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech III for our Flower Mound, TX manufacturing plant. The role requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, with experience in a manufacturing setting, and involves a rotating night shift from 6pm to 6am.

The technician will perform industrial maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and support production with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 6 years in maintenance in manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of single and three-phase motors and reading schematics.
• Strong knowledge of transformers and AC circuits; reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, PM, and repair equipment in assigned area with minimal guidance.
• Maintain open communication with maintenance team and supervision.
• Complete work orders with accurate documentation and SAP entry.
• Perform maintenance tasks following safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for projects and improvements.

We are currently seeking a skilled maintenance tech to join our team in Flower Mound, TX. Maintenance Tech III - Manufacturing Plant

Location

Flower Mound, TX

Hourly Rate

$28.00 -$34.00 - Plus $2.00 for SD - Rate is based on experience from mechanical and electrical test scores

Shift

6pm to 6am - Rotating Night Shift

General Purpose

This position will perform industrial maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities while providing value by safely and efficiently supporting the production team

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, PM, and repair equipment in assigned area with no guidance needed
• Maintain open and accurate communication with other maintenance employees as well as supervision.
• Complete all assigned work orders completely and accurately, documenting all prudent information describing the completion of the work order
• Complete MRO Documentation and SAP entry as dictated by maintenance tasks, repairs and PMs.
• Perform technical maintenance tasks under close supervision.
• Provide all information necessary to maintain proper parts inventories.
• Work with outside contractors to complete projects and improvements wherever possible.
• Maintain all facility grounds and services.
• Perform all work in a safe manner following all Company safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Skills and Abilities

• High School Diploma or G.E.D., and 6 years experience in a maintenance occupation in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties.

• Reading Schematics
• Strong knowledge of transformers & A.C. Circuits
• Reading blueprints
• Rigging skills
• Strong knowledge of electricity up to 480V
• Working knowledge of every energy source for each piece of utility equipment in assigned area (electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic, etc.).
• Ability to maintain plant utilities (lighting, water systems, drain systems, etc.).
• Ability to work independently.
• Be able to measure, cut, thread, and join stainless, black iron, plastic, and copper piping.
• Full understanding of various diagnostic equipment including but not limited to ohms meter, voltage meters, etc. basic knowledge and understanding of power equipment to include cut-off saws, demo-saws, drills, etc.
• 10-hour OSHA Training
• Thoroughly understand and follow all OSHA and Company regulations as they relate to the maintenance field (LOTO, CSE, PPE, etc.).
• Basic understanding of critical MRO and SAP procedures and requirements and be able to enter and populate computerized tracking systems.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Completion of Level II Assessment Training. (Required) #MITERmaint
