Job summary

Metropolitan Management Co in the Puget Sound area is seeking a friendly, organized Maintenance Tech to join our team. This role supports several historic buildings located in the Capitol Hill and First Hill neighborhoods, Seattle, and values workmanship and teamwork. Bi-lingual Spanish/English is encouraged.

Compensation is $28-$35 per hour for 40 hours per week, with no additional bonus/commission. The position includes duties such as preparing market-ready apartments, resident service

Qualifications

• High school with on-the-job education in a specific skill area; 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping.
• Completes resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Performs on-call emergency procedures as required.
• Reports maintenance issues impacting budget or safety to the manager.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance and records activities.
