Job summary

StartupNWA is seeking an Occupational Maintenance Technician to repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment in the facility. The role includes performing preventative maintenance and utilizing a wide range of tools and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in maintenance, basic welding, ability to read manuals and blueprints, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in maintenance-related fields.
• Basic welding experience.
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Have or obtain tools needed to perform the above tasks.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred: pneumatics and hydraulics experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned area.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the facility.
• Perform repairs and equipment installation/removal in an efficient manner.
• Maintain good housekeeping at workstations and work areas.
• Respond to plant emergencies including Haz-Mat incidents, equipment malfunction, fires, severe weather as directed by supervision.
• Lock out / tag out certification.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for work orders and checklists.
• Take on special projects as assigned by maintenance supervisor or manager.
