Job summary

National Vision is seeking Maintenance Technicians for our optical manufacturing facility. This full-time night-shift role features a 3-day workweek with four days off, plus a 10% shift differential and bi-weekly bonus opportunities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment such as edgers, generators and blockers, and support installations in the lab. A strong reading ability in English and basic maintenance skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC).
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Experience in manufacturing is desired but not required, optical industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment and maintaining PM checklists.
• Handle work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production downtime.
• Service and maintain Edgers, Generators and Blockers in the lab.
• Identify issues and perform repairs.
• Assist with installations and servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab.
• Follow safety measures and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures; use PPE as required.

Our optical manufacturing facility is growing! We're excited to offer new openings for Maintenance Technicians.

Schedules: Our FT 2nd shift positions work 3 days/week with 4 days off. Perfect for those wanting to restructure non-work hours or minimize commutes. Maintenance Tech hours may vary slightly but core shift hours are:

• Shift 2A: Sundays through Tuesdays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)
• Shift 2B: Wednesdays through Fridays (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)

Pay & extras:Competitive base pay (DOE) PLUS 10% shift differential AND extra bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We also have a generous PTO plan and numerous benefits.

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical lab.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

• Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintainingPM checklists
