AUTOKINITON is hiring a Maintenance Tech (Machine Repair) on 2nd shift to install, diagnose, and repair electrical components on motors and robots in a high‑throughput stamping environment. The role requires experience with large presses and robotic welders, with Journeyman Card preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large metal stamping presses (200–3000 ton).
• Experience with robotic welding machines (Fanuc welders).
• Fabrication experience in metalworking.
• Experience in manufacturing with steel, iron, aluminum and other metals.

Responsabilités

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
• Diagnose and replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices
• Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other personnel from other affected departments including production, maintenance, and tool room to diagnose malfunction
• Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas
• Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems
• Removes and replaces worn or broken parts

RESPONSIBLITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working on large metal stamping presses (200-3000 ton)
• Working with robotic welding machines (Fanuc ped welders and spot welders)
• Experience in fabrication
• Experience in a manufacturing environment working with steel, iron, aluminum, and other various metals
• Journeyman Card preferred

PAY AND SHIFT TIMES:

• 2nd shift, 1:50pm - 10pm Monday - Friday with OT on weekends as required
• $38.00 per hour
• $2.00 per hour additional if you have Journeyman Card
• Union Facility - Member of UAW local 2000

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
