Job summary

Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC) is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations at a luxury condominium community in Downtown Austin. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and help keep common areas and units safe, clean, and functional.

The role offers a full-time schedule (Tue-Sat, 9:30 am–6:30 pm) with occasional after-hours call coverage. Compensation ranges from $25 to $26 per hour plus standard benefits.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
• Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
• Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
• Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
• Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
• Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
• Serve as backup support to the Maintenance Supervisor when required.
