Job summary

Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC) in Downtown Austin seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to support a luxury condominium community. You will perform routine maintenance and assist with day-to-day operations to keep spaces safe and well-maintained for residents.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll handle light plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC tasks, and logistics for move-ins/outs, in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in residential facilities is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
• Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
• Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
• Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
• Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
• Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
• Serve as backup support to the Maintenance Supervisor when required.

• LOCATION: Downtown Austin - Seaholm District.
• SCHEDULE: 5 days per week (40 hours): 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. It may include weekends.
• PAY RATE: $20 per hour.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
