Job summary

Worth Ross Management Company is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance operations at a luxury condominium community in Downtown Austin. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will keep common areas and residential units safe, functional, and well-maintained, with pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include routine upkeep, light plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, lock repairs, HVAC tasks, move-in/move-out

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to be on-call or respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in common areas and residential units.
• Handle entry-level tasks including light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and lock repairs.
• Assist with HVAC-related tasks such as filter replacement and basic inspections.
• Support move-ins and move-outs by preparing common areas and assisting with logistics.
• Escort vendors and contractors, operate freight elevators as needed, and conduct walkthroughs before and after work is completed.
• Assist with general building upkeep, porter duties, and package handling when needed.
• Serve as backup support to the Maintenance Supervisor when required.

• LOCATION: Downtown Austin - Rainey Street Distict (Near Trailhead Park)
• SCHEDULE: Full Time: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.5 days per week, with one weekday and one weekend day off
• PAY RATE: $21 - $23 hourly
